Historical Snapshots
Dec 23, 2009.The 3rd in a series of short articles about recent improvements to 2Way Fitness Analytics
2Way Fitness prides itself on being able to do a lot with the data provided by our users. Our aim is to do as much with the data that users provide as we can, and to provide graphical feedback instantaneously and automatically.
To that end, we've recently added the "Historical Snapshot" page to the "Analyze" menu (see below).
This new page shows three sets of "tubes":
- Minutes trained
- Odometer
- Exercise Points
These can be viewed in Weekly (W), Monthly (M), Quarterly (Q) and Yearly (Y) mode and will display the last 4 readings in each mode. For example, in weekly mode the tubes will show your reading for the current week and each of the 3 previous weeks. The recording for the current week is highlighted in yellow.
We believe that these gauges provide a great graphical representation of a user's training progress. They are quick and easy to access, and more importantly, they will keep you motivated and on track towards your goals.
If you have any thoughts about recent changes or you have your own suggestions for improvements you'd like to see, or perhaps you have a problem to report, then we'd love to hear from you in the online forum.
By the way, we have lots of plans for doing more with the data you give us. The Historical Snapshot is just the latest example. That's one of the advantages of 2Way Fitness Analytics being a web application: we can roll out improvements to all of our users regularly and quickly. And you don't have to do anything special to get the improvements. Just browse to the application home page and you will automatically be using the latest version of the software.
