Two New Features: Activity Sections and Regular Exercise Activities

We've been busy developing a couple of new features for 2Way Fitness Logbook:

  • Exercise Activity Sections allow you to break up an exercise activity into separate sections so that you can create a more accurate exercise record.
  • Regular Exercise Activities are templates for exercise activities that save you from having to re-enter the same or similar information over and over again.

Exercise Activity Sections

When you record an exercise activity, you can now divide the activity into one or more sections. For example, perhaps the activity includes a warm up, a run, a swim, and a cool down. Each section is assigned a duration and a perceived exertion level.

Regular Exercise Activities

Recording your exercise activities should be an enjoyable experience. We want you to feel a sense of achievement and satisfaction each and every time you record an activity in 2Way Fitness Logbook. We certainly don't want you to feel like it is a chore. Put another way: we think you should sweat on the road, not on the computer.

So, to make recording your exercise even easier, we have introduced Regular Exercise Activities. A Regular Exercise Activity is a template for an exercise activity that you define. You can use the template to quickly record new exercise activities without having to enter all the details from scratch each time. You can define as many regular exercise activities as you like.

Regular Activities

To use a regular exercise activity that you have defined, go to your weekly Exercise page, and click on 'add ... Select from regular activities' as shown below.

The application will then present you with a fully filled in exercise activity corresponding to the regular activity you selected. You can save the new activity immediately or edit it to your satisfaction before saving.
